Delete your Rihla account

You can delete your Rihla account and the personal data linked to it at any time, in the app or without it.

Option 1: In the Rihla app

  1. Open the Rihla app and sign in.
  2. Go to the “Account” tab.
  3. Tap “Delete my account”, then confirm with “Delete”.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.

Option 2: By email

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleted immediately

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Password and sign-in details
  • All active sign-in sessions

Kept

  • Order and invoice records (including the email address used for each order): kept for 10 years as required by German commercial and tax law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB), then deleted.
  • Crash reports and anonymous usage events(Sentry, PostHog): not linked to your identity, and removed automatically under those services’ standard retention periods.

Deleting your account does not affect eSIMs already installed on your device; they keep working until their plan ends. For more details, see our privacy policy.
